Default Back up Sonar Question

Hey guys, I've been really fighting the urge to replace the factory heap unit in my 2010 SCrew.

I don't want to lose Sync (especially since I realized I can bluetooth Pandora from my Droid X). I know there are aftermarket adapter harnesses, but I really don't want to mount some wonky looking external LCD for my Sync read out.

A feature I have also come to love is the reverse assist sonar. I hadn't thought about it but would replacing factory head unit cost me that feature as well? I know it may sound crazy, but it just seems like every feature I don't want to lose is tied in to the crappy underpowered HU.

Any info would be appreciated.

call up the factory and demand them to build you what you want! most systems are compatible (im talking from my 1994 truck not new ones) ask the dealer if you could mix the two systems together. or just have your kid stand in the bed and shout when your about to hit something
