I have the plug and play harness along with it. I believe there are some considerations regarding how it incorporates with more up-spec'd models though, so check out their site and the notes about what it plays well with. I just have the reverse light because I believe at the time I bought there was no harness to tie into the brake and running lights without issue.

If you want BRIGHT reverse/work lights…then go with the Diode Dynamic SSC2 (2”) under bumper lights….
The Putco is pretty bright, but its no where near as bright as the DD-SSC2.

I also have the VLED LP light. It was on my old Tacoma for i think 2 years and it's been on my current F150 for another 2 years. They didn't have the plug and play one when I bought it.

For this truck I tapped into the trailer plug reverse light wire. Then I put a terminal on the negative and grounded it with a self tapper by the bumper.

The VLEDS LPX universal is attracting my attention.
I like the incorporated running/brake light, very, very sporty.

Unless there is something similar for less, I may go with it.

Yes, this is the first one I saw and the only other that I've seen that "does it all" (back up light, running light, brake light) other than the long under tail gate light bars, but there may be others. The only long ones that seem quality are the Putco Blades.

A member is selling a Diode Dynamics For $150 shipped. I like it that it also flashes to catch attention. I'd want to buy a $10 hitch lock for it. The VLEDS LPX does not flash when braking, but is only $120.

Decisions.

Yea got when DD was doing $100 shipped for one. Super easy to install, and perfectly lights up the night.

I like the fact that the VLED plate light doesn't need to be removed when you go to tpw something and need to put a hitch on.

Yes, that’s a perk for sure.

The VLEDS LPX back/brake light model will be on sale July 4th for about $110.

But this older VLEDS model, BNIB never installed may have fallen into my lap for $25-30. Just a backup light connecting with a splice connector, no running/brake lights.
