Default Back up light solution??

Looking to get more light for backing boat in the early a.m. or after dark. Was thinking of LED, but heard they don't really add that much. What about a light bar under the bumper....could it work off the back-up light switch?

This is what I did with my 2010. I didn't get any night photos with them, but they added so much more light.

LED light bar would give you plenty of light, but I'm not sure how that would mount under the bumper.

Most people use LED cubes mounted to the pre-existing holes underneath the bumper.

I have dynamic diodes fancy led lights in the stock housings. I have 25% tinted windows and I can actually use my mirrors at night now. I wouldn't mind some rigid diffused duallys or srq but I didn't want to deal with another harness

I bought a $20 pair of LED spotlights from Amazon ("eyourlife" brand) and riveted them to my hitch. They're run off a relay triggered by my reverse lights and make a massive difference in visibility.
