Well first check your other thread...and 2nd yes you can attach an amp behind the seat. There are several threads on it...here's one https://www.f150forum.com/f38/amp-in...ng-pics-60544/

Fairy dust!!

If you want to install them back there, you are doing good!!

Too bad you can't plant a amp seed back there and have it grow.

That's where the fairy dust comes into play.

If you don't want to do it just open your wallet and pay a professional.

What exactly are you trying to install...sub or just replace factory speakers? If your just replacing factory speakers you can purchase a small amp and install it under the HU. A subwoofer you're SOL. It took me awhile to get everything done on my install.

lol

Yup! A professional installer who usually is no more qualified at installation than I am at flying the space shuttle.

Yup!
I never regret DIY, I often regret paying someone else to do stuff. Pride in one's workmanship is rare.

/rant.

The install is easy. SCab or SCrew?
Release the latching pin so the seatback folds down in a SCrew. Dunno how a SCab works. There are many posts about how to do this. After the seatback is down the rest will almost work itself out.

I made a compromise with the wife...any mods I make on the truck I do myself. It just takes a little intuition, confidence, hard work, and know how...oh and patience.
