Default Automatic Folding Mirrors on 2018?

I have purchased a 2018 Platinum F-150. Wondering if anyone knows how to enable auto folding mirrors to make them fold in after leaving or locking the vehicle. I know this has been covered for older trucks but you’d think a newer one would have this. Our Platinum Explorer has this feature. Thanks in advance.

I have this enabled on my '18 Lariat, although I had to make the change through FORScan. I haven't seen an option to do it any other way though.

New to the truck world with a purchase of a 2018 F150, I was wondering this same thing. My past cars (SUVs) had the option to automatically swing the side mirrors each time the car was "locked" when walking away. Any updates of how to program the folding mirrors?

Ford probably didn't set it up that way as it would have cost $1 a vehicle to upgrade the motor and gears for additional wear.

Can you do this with older trucks using forscan....2012 FX4. This would be helpful when parking in tight work parking lot?!

You can do this using the forscan application to turn the setting on. If you look at one of the forscan sheets it's called lincoln mirrors since it's a feature on lincoln vehicles that close with the lock of the vehicle I believe.

No it's not possible. It's only available on 15+ newer trucks due to them having the required door module.
