If you’ve never done this, don’t even have a vehicle with auto stop start, how could you possibly think you’re giving factual information?

Disabling it with ForScan also disables the BMS. Please stop pushing that info when you don’t have experience.

There are alot of brokeasses who say "push the button" everytime... they don't know any better. Some of them like to talk trash about a 10R80 even though they've never driven them. But misery & company.
My personal truck gets driven once to every couple of weeks... Im not trying to remember to push the stupid ****ing A S S dash button.
This solution is elegant and the company stands behind their product. Super easy to install.

You may also want to look into the drive mode saver device... so you don't have to remember to change that every key cycle.
Again... my truck has 3 memory presets for wheel, seat, and pedal arrangements. Imagine you set them up to suit your driving & they reset every key cycle forcing you to push a button...lol. Common sense is not common.

The Forscan, brake controller, and tinkering with the ground on the battery all disable the BMS. Spend a bit on the auto start stop eliminator or the flash programmer to disable this. As for myself the 4D programmer has worked quite well. KM

Oh, the worthless member with his worthless opinion makes another worthless post.

You’d been doing better about not saying stupid things for no reason. Guess you just couldn’t help it as anyone who decides to push the button is a “broke ***.”

I drive my truck less than you and am apparently not as brain dead as I’m able to remember to push the button just fine.

It’s widely known it also turns off the BMS. Not sure what else to tell you but to do some research and your friend has an inactive BMS.
