Default Auto Start/Stop Quit Working...Do I need it?

I have a 2016 F150 2.7l with 17k miles..The Auto stop/start has slowly quit working and now it will not work at all. One of the suggestions was to have the battery checked. So I went to 2 different auto parts stores and each one checked and said battery is good. I have gone thru the entire checklist in the owners manual to make sure I didn't have the Tow/haul or Sport mode set and I've never used Manual mode. I have pressed firmly on the brake while stopped and have tried it with the AC on and off but nothing. My question: is there any need to have the dealer check this out or is it OK to continue to drive it with it not working? I can't see why it would cause any problems with it not working but thought I'd ask anyway.

Several on here would tickled if it did quit. Shouldn't hurt anything.

Default Thanks for the answers.

Didn't figure the issue was worth taking to the dealer...I usually shut it off 95% of the time when it did work.

I'd be more concerned with a latent computer issue causing the start/stop failure. Could be the canary in the cola mine for further issues.
