Default Auto Springs

Today I installed a Autospring Corp. 2" leveling kit on my 2007 4x4 xlt and the front end seems to sitting a bit higher than the rear. Does anyone know if this will "relax" to be even with the rear? The difference is about a 1/4 of an inch, I know thats not alot but I can see it!

i don't think the leveling kit will " relax" due to it being made of poly or steel. there won't be much give for shrinkage. throw a winch or brush guard on the front and that will settle it down. someone else will probably have a better answer

I asked three people if they could see the difference from the front to the rear, all said no. I think its just me being ****, not only that but the fear of doing the work yourself and wondering if you did it right.

The one that bolts to the top of the coil assembly. Now thinking about it, makes sence that it would not "relax" due to fact that I did not change the tension on the coil. Bolt on lower A arm/strut assembly was a bi*** to get back in.

I had the 2.5" kit on my truck prior to lifting. Measurement wise I sat .5" higher in the rear than the front, but to the eye you couldn't tell it. I wouldn't worry about it, you'll be fine.

Stock P275/65 R18, saving up my pennies to purchase 33 tire and rim combo.

go 35's, your stock tires are 32" so another inch might not be noticable, but hey, this is your truck so have fun with it

Thats what I love about this site, I talked to a guy that lives near me and was told that with the 2" kit I could only fit 33 under it. Thanks for the info!!
