Default Anyone tried these letters on a diff tailgate

I have a 2005 F-150. Love these letters. Wondering if anyone else has put these on a 04-08 tailgate?
i know they are designed to go over the letters of the late models but there has to be a way to mount these to the flat gates

Based on the link you posted the seem to be stickers, so you could place them wherever you want. I haven't seen them on any 11th or 12th gen truck and you can probably get the letters cheaper on Amazon or Ebay. If you do it, post pics. I'm curious what it looks like

Not a fan of the gen'13 beveled edge F-150 logo/emblem/badge and prefer the gen'11 | gen'12 renditions. *They don't even use it in their promotion (*.lower right-hand corner)

I have these letters on my tailgate.
They will work on your tailgate, but you have to make sure you get them lined up correctly the very first time, because you won't get a second chance to stick them on. Once you push them on, they're on for good (as long as you've cleaned the area well).

So are they decals or a hard plastic? Thx

Have you ever put on decals with soapy water? Lube up the surface, apply your decal, slide it anywhere, then squeege out the excess soap and water. Pretty sure every pro decal place does it that way. It's not a one shot and done.

They are a flexible plastic, and they are not just flat. They are sort of bubble shaped, and about 1/8" thick. If you look at the left side of the F, you can sort of see the rounded edge.

I understand that, and have seen it done with other things (such as window tint).
The only thing is, how do you keep the letters from moving, once you have applied them with soapy water? Might be okay if you don't move the truck for a few days until the water dries up, but I wouldn't want to drive it around knowing that the letters might slide around a bit.

Once you squeegie the water/soap from behind the decal, its done. Never going to be moving. I do see your concern, and appreciate it. But here's a video that shows start to finish.
