I actually sat my takeout pizza on my heated seat the other day and wondered if it would help keep it warm! I'm sure it helps so I'll continue to do it if I remember to!

I checked out the third printing of the Owner's Manual for the 2014 F-150s; it lists the following information starting on page 111:

"In cold weather, the system is set to 72°F (22°C). The heated seats and heated steering wheel are set to high (if available,and selected to AUTO in the information display). The rear defroster and heatedmirrors automatically turn on."
