I want to cut off my converters how do I bypass the sensors

yes it rn like it was missing and the dcheck engine light came on

I would either gut the cats or by high performance ones.

I believe that the 04's have 4 cats. You can cut off the back two with no problem.

i thought it was the front two?

you can also get o2 sims, or get high flow cats.

In that case gut them or put in high flow cats and you'll get the same results as straight pipes.
