I lost my Ford F150 super crew chiped key after looking for it about 2 weeks, I finally drill the ignition switch out. After fighting this thing another week or so I found my key. I replaced my switch with one with out a chip. Wrong key code 13.
So I'm trying to find out if there is away,( now that I have the chiped key), to start it with the unchiped key?

 

Generally, a key without a chip cannot start a vehicle with a chip key system.

 

Unless you know how to cheat a bit.

Assuming nothing else was damaged, you may be able to hold the chipped key close enough to the unchipped key so it will be read.

You will bet more accurate answers if you include the model year of your truck.

Since none of the switches have a chip. I suspect he's simply unfamiliar with this stuff and the misuse of various terms is coincidental.
