Default Antenna sensitivity

Is there a good way to increase sensitivity for those of us that live in rural areas?

You can get an electric in line booster or just an electric antenna. They also make stock replacements with a higher sensitivity.

No problem. After you asked i found little boosters for 6$ on ebay and amazon. I might try one myself.

I've tried one before while driving from Kalifornistan to Texas, and it didn't work for ****.
I don't remember which 'brand' it was however, so that tid-bit 'o info doesn't really help you.
You DO have a couple of options however.
One is Satellite Radio. I don't know which '150 you have, but at least in the Nav/Radio package on the '11-'13 it comes installed with an initial short-time subscription.
The second alternative is running apps like 'I Heart Radio' through your smart phone, and into your truck's ipod/MP3 hook-up. If you have the Nav/Radio package then you're able to stream it through your phone as well. Websites like the one listed picks up radio stations throughout the whole country, and lets you listen to 'em anywhere in the world.
You just gotta download the app for your phone.
I listen to my local sports-talk station pretty-much whenever I'm in my truck. I Heart Radio carries it, so I've listened to it while I was Florida.

thanks yokey, but I have a faithful, old 1998. The radio doesn't have any of that good stuff. All I want is better reception of the stations that are 25 miles away......

Not exactly what you were asking, but a better option in my opinion...
