Default Another traction control question

Hey guys,
On the 2011 F150 XLT with the off road package the rear diff is open but the traction control along with the one wheel slip control act kinda similiar to a LS. This I understand...

My question is if I turn off the TCS because I don't want to cut engine power when pulling out from a snowy/icy intersection will the one wheel slip control still work? I guess I would still like it to work so I don't have to put in in 4wd or 4wd with the e-locker.

Sorry for the stupid question but I need to make up my mind in the next day if its going to be the F150 or 11' Silverado.

Thanks again!
