Default Amp installation options

I have a 2005 Ford F150 extended cab, i have just purchased a dual enclosure sub box for the back seat. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas where i could put my amps, i figured just putting them under the driver and the passenger seats would work, any suggestions?

Put mine under middle console seat. Easy to hide wires and out of site. Behind back seat, backrest works too.

Can you post a picture of how you did it under the console? I think thats what i may do, or else put it under both the driver and passenger seats. I am not sure behind the rear seat will work, being that the f150s style doesnt give that much room to work with.

Did not take picts, but did have to take console out. I already hadboth seats out so it was easy.It is a kenwood 1000 watt. It just fit in the bottom, was tite and had to wire as I went. with seats out running the rca wires and stuff was a breeze. be sure to sheild the amps power and speaker hookups as to not short them on the console frame. Almost lost my amp to that.
Depending on the amp. It is possible to do it with just pulling the cusion. A bit of a pain that way.
I had enough room to hide a small power inverter to run my laptops and stuff. hope this helps some. the end result was worth removing the seats.

Under the driver / passenger seats is prolly the most convenient option, then running the wiring under the carpet along the sidewall.
