i just want to make sure im doing this right, im trying to put 4 lights on each of my step bars(total of 8 lights), i have the harness/relay made.

its a 4 pin relay, 1 peg is the switch(85), one is the ground(86), one is power to lights(87) and one is to the + terminal of the battery with a 20amp(250W) inline fuse(30). Im using male and female connectors and im using 10 gauge wire(probably overkill)

am i missing anything? or is there anything else i need to do or know?

i have not had the chance to test it yet, i dont have all the lights i need

 

and do the amount of connectors cause a drop in power??
