Question All Wheel Drive Bypass?

Does anybody know if the awd switch in a 2001 Expedition can be bypased so that I only have power going to the rear wheels?

I am not sure if this is correct but this is what they said on an expedition forum.

If you do not need the AWD there are several easy ways of deactivating.
Easieast is to pull out the transfer case fuse or any fuse that controls the system.

If my memory is correct, it's fuse 104. Anyone out there confirm.

Default AWD bypass

I think I'll stick with installing a switched leg to the 104 fuse, but thanks anyway for that great idea!
