Default alarm system

Good morning to every one. 5/20/16

I have a BIG problem. I bought a real nice 94 ford explorer for my wife ' it is a 94 ford explorer limited v6 four wheel drive auto trans. She has been having a lot of problem with the alarm system going off and not being able to shut it off ' over time it will shut down then she can start the suv.
I have look every where on the net and found that there is a green/purple wire behind the kick panel left driver side that needs to be grounded and that will stop the system from going off well that did not work. Then i found a site that says that the module for the alarm system is in the back left side over wheel well that i need to unplug the two plugs to disarm the system. Well that did nothing. I found a module with three plugs and i did unplug them and that module has a wire that looks like a antenna coming off of it.
I would like to know where in the hell the module is so i can get the system to stop working. ( disable )
I hope someone here can help.
THANKS

You sure it's not an AFTERMARKET alarm system that's providing your issue? Trace the audable horn/speaker wire(s) to the source box. Then disconnect the power to this box.

My moms 03 explorer had the same issues. It will go off at all times of the day, unexpectedly.
We traced the problem down to the driver side door ajar switch. Problem solved, it's been a week now. Good luck.
