Default Air filter

Anyone use a K&N air filter of any kind. Do you see a difference?

I really don't see a difference because if I get a vehicle I plan to keep for a fairly long time I put in the K&N right away. Had one in my 1995 Dodge, have one in my Harley and put one in the 2004 F-150 4X4 the first week I got it. Jim.

I put a K&N drop in air filter in my 96 F150 and did notice a small increase in throttle response. Fuel economy increased slightly, as well. I think they are worth the $.

Hi y'all!
I have a k&n cold air intake in my '05 FX4 screw and it gives a nice kick when you floor it. I recently got a magnaflow exhaust and the rig is even better now! CAI and exhaust system is a match made in heaven!

I have one in my 02. Filters were running nearly $30 a piece and the K&N was $60. Didn't see much of an improvement with it, just nice to have a filter that I can reuse after washing the remnants of the last dust storm out of. Saw more throttle response and 2 mpg when I coupled it with the Gotts but that's about it.

Have one on my XJ to compliment the snorkel works okay.

I had a K & N on my 2000 F-150 for I'd guess about 10 years before I sold it. I have one on my new F-150 Ecoboost. I didn't notice and difference in performance on either truck. Saves money in the long run.

Exactly. Why pay $30 for a new filter every 15,000 miles when you could pay $60 for a filter that will last the life of the vehicle?
