Default Advice needed on nav/dvd head unit..please

I hoping the collective brains and do it yourselfers can help be make a decision on a new head unit.
I'm looking for a nav/dvd head unit for my 2006 Lariat.I need it to have Sirius and steering wheel control capability as well as I-pod or at least a mp3 jack.
oh and I need it for as close to 700 as i can get.
I'm thinking of the Jenson VM 9022,the clarion vz409 or the pioneer avic-v310bt.I actually asked them to order the Jenson but it was on a spur of the moment and I'm having second thoughts.
Anybody out there have any suggestion. The jenson is 712.00 WITH the sirius and steering wheel controls..high res screen and ipod contols with usb input on an external adapter you mount under the dash. The others I haven't seen up close..just pics on the net.
Any advice, suggestions oralternatives would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks

I checked out sonicelectronix.com as well as crutchfield..it can give you a headache .Every thime you think you found the one you want you read the spedcs and find out its missing one component..IE..steering wheel control, usb updates, sirius etc...
Does anyone have a Jenson hooked to SIRIUS using the cnp200uc and cnp jen1 adapters??..The specs say sirius/xm but the part description just says XM ??

Clarion was on the list..both the 409 and the 509.I like the Jenson because of the pic in pic feature..bluetooth..and higher res screen..and also you can split your audio and play movies thru the rear and music thru the front at different volumes if you have kids..BUT..I just found out that Jensens are XM compatable NOT sirius acording to crutchfield. So now I'm stuck..do i switch to xm or look at other units. In the running now are the kenwood dnx7140and 5140 the jvc kx nx7000 and the pioneer avic x910bt and z110bt.
Aany one have one of the above units...any thoughts?
Thanks

well its over..I picked up a pioneer Avic-X910BT.It has everything I was looking for and with the blue tooth intragrated into it it saves getting the ad on.I picked it up for 500 bucks..much lower than they retail for.I ordered the steering wheel and sirius thru sonic and the whole set up wil run 700 bucks fully loaded..well almost.there is a HD option but with sirius I wont need it.And I already have a few USB A/V I=pod cords that I use on the flat screen in the house. The nice part is the guy I got it from has had it 2 months and bought a new car with factory nav and the better part..He lives in Virgina..I'm in cleveland..but the wife is at the Dullas expo center in virgina 10 miles from his house and will send my son down to get it today.
For what its worth after talking to the guys at crutchfield and sonic I had narrowed it down to 1 of 3 units..all just under 1,200.00.My first choice was the Avic x910bt..my second wa the kenwood dnx5140 and the third was the jvc kw nx7000.
The best deal with all the option was the jensen vm9022 but I had to eliminate it because Jensen only supports XM radio and not sirius.

glad to hear you went with the pioneer - they are the only headunits I've been using for the last ten years and haven't had any problems with them whatsoever. Funny I should say that because some of these AVIC models had some software issues - there is a firmware update out for some of these units that I suggest flashing if you have any trouble at all with the unit

I'v been doing some reading on AVIC411.COM about firmware updates and various hacks on this unit.I wont have this unit in my hands until tomorrow when the wife brings it back from VA,So I dont know what firmware it has..I guess 3.0 is the latest out there.I dont know about the hacks that guys have done to this version but I'll make sure it at lease has the latest factory version..and of course the lock out procedure.I'm hoping everything else in the install is plug and play since I have a VSS wire in the harness for the stock radio and the guy I got it from said it was wired to play while driveong.I'm hoping since I ordered the install harness from sonic that it will be good to go right out of the box.The only thing I have to do is try and utilize the factory sirius antenna I have and not the after market..some one said the plugs are different and I may have to cut and splice if I want to retain the factory antenna??
I won't know for sure untill the sirius unit get here from sonic next week.Worse comes to worse I'll run the after market thru the rear 3rd brake light and hide it back there. But I'd like to use the factory.
