Default adjusting headlights

alright someone just dumb it down for me how do i adjust my headlights properly i just put new headlights and hids in so they need to be adjusted appreciate it

Sorry Brogan, its been over 20 years since I've done it and that was with the aiming set.

You know what is messed up is the manual says totake it to the dealer.

97-03 has a vertical and horizontal screw I believe, but if it is justy s/p HID install then I assume you are aiming down.

You park 25 feet away from wall. There should be a aiming mark on the outer glass of the light like a small circle. MEasure from the ground to that. Take that height and mark it on the wall with tape. On lows turn your lights on, and the light upper rather straight part of the beam should rest along that line for the OEM setting. If you are aiming down just use the vertical adjust screw (4mm) and aim them down. Don't remember what way is what. Re-check with the highs. Also, once done. Stand at the wall and slowly squat not looking into the lights but in that direction and make sure that do not have crazy glare and different levels, This would indicate that they were not adjusted equally.

SIN hit it on the nuts. thats how I did mine. It took a little bit to get the highbeams, but I got it.
