Nope...totally serious. Very happy with the way the AC works in my truck. Actually pretty impressed. And a little shocked to be honest being how big the cab is.

Like RNLcomp said about his F150 applies to me, and my 94 extra cab 22R had a great system in it too. Even taking in consideration the smaller cab, it had an efficient ac system.

Here we go again with the a/c problems.

See Post 7 in this thread, and if your a/c does not work this well, get it fixed.

https://www.f150forum.com/f2/r12-ref...t-f150-309696/

I just came back from Home Depot, 101° outside, a/c cooled it down in less than 10 minutes.

Seriously, do you think that anyone living in these cities would buy a Ford truck if the a/c did not work right? I'm in #2.

Top 10 Hottest Cities:
1. Phoenix
2. Las Vegas
3. Dallas
4. Houston
5. Austin
6. San Antonio
7. Miami
8. New Orleans
9. Orlando
10. Tampa

Well , Im in number 4. When I bought my truck it was late October. No way to put it to the test for true Houston weather, now was there? Its great that your truck works well, its not great that you act the way you do towards the MANY of us who do have trucks with poor ac's. My dealer has put a new coil and temp probe in, no better. When the ac cycles 42-48, it will never cool!

I guess you think all of the guys that bought 15's, with all of the unknown issues with those trucks, are idiots too, right?

So as irritating as our "acs not working posts" are to you, so is yours!

The fact is that the vast majority of the F-150s have good air conditioning output.

If you think that your ac is not working properly, I can guarantee one thing.

You will not get it fixed by whining about it on this forum. Guaranteed.

Read the posts about the various fixes people have come up with, and try them.

After all is said and done, you either do whatever you have to do to repair it, or live with it. Whining won't fix it.

Red face

I was probably about 200 yds. away from the tolls. Zoomed way in with my lens to check out the bridge

I have an '11 Lariat with the 6.2. My AC seems to be fine. Some times I have to turn the temp up because I'm too cool. Of course, I'm an Old Fart too, so.... Last Monday on my way home to Delaware from West Virginia. By the time I got to the Bay Bridge it was around noon, and the traffic stopped dead. Sat there shuffling until I got to the tolls. Then took me about 20 mins. to cross the bridge. Normally takes 5-7 mins.. It was around 90 and a bit muggy. My AC did fine, didn't skip a beat.

Keep in mind I also put an extra lb of Freon in.

It was 101 on the display in the donor truck today, it had 38 degrees out the vent with the temp set to 62.

I have had 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014 Ford F-150's and the first time I have noticed an inadequate air conditioner is in my 2014. That is here in Ohio where it seldom gets above 90 in the summer.
