Default About to go insane!

Well my whole family drives fords and I have no regrets. But in one week my dad 05 f150 started acting up. After 3 days we found the problem and it was a dirty MAF sensor. My trucks transmission went all to hell last friday so I took it to a shop on saturday. They rebuilt the whole transmission and I picked it up this evening. About half way home it started grinding real bad when I pulled out. So after I paid $2300 for them to rebuild it its still not fixed. Needles to say they are gonna see the a**h**e side of me tomorrow. And my moms 09 escape is making a terrible grinding noise from the rear brakes so I guess ill tear in that problem this weekend. So this has been a ruff week for a ford driving family!

Sh*t happens man. It comes in threes too. Just make damn sure the shop that rebuilt your transmission takes care of the problem for free, and make them pay for a rental car!

As to your moms brakes; don't touch them, it's under warranty, make Ford pay for the rental car.

What's your dads truck doing?

Not everything - tires, brake pads, have to check on wipers. Wearable items not covered...

hey all vehicles need maintenance, my dad just had $1200 in transmission done to his '99 f150, my moms '05 escape makes grinding noises too, i think we just changed the pads and they were ok, i just sold my old '95 explorer because it was nickel and diming us at 210K miles, we also have my '96 f150, my '99 escprt and my bro just picked up a '96 taurus, we're what you would call a ford family too

I'm sure they're not going to replace brake pads because of wear, but if they're are faulty parts, then it should be covered.
