Hi im new to this forum and dont know too much about cars and trucks. My 99 f150 didnt come with a tailgate and i finally decided to get at it. I bought a tailgate online thinking all i needed to buy was the handle. Turns out thats not the case. Whats every single part i need for it. I cant find most of the parts online like a latch rod and stuff. Could someone help me out?

 

I'm not too keen on the 10th gen F-150's. Try posting this in the 97-03 section as well, it'll probably get more views. I'm assuming you'll need the hinges, cables, and latch assembly along with the handle.
