Default 98 ford 150 4x4
Will not engage. Turn the switch to 4x4 high and low, dash board light does not come on and 4.x4 does not engage. Any suggestions?

Not sure what the problem is, I have manual 4x4 hubs and shifter.

Get under and tap the transfer case shift motor with a rubber mallet. If it shifts after that replace the motor. As suggested posting in the year specific will produce quicker results.

Could be a number of things. Like a wire came loose or something serious. Idk what to tell you about that one.
