97 F150 Keyless entry install
Hello to everyone,
I've gone through multiple posts to find info on a keyless entry install. I bought a Viper 211 HV system and the installation guide is very vague. If anyone has installed this type of system could you share the details. The more detail the better. The install manual details wire designations like:
Lock #30 Common Output
Lock #87 Normally closed
Lock #87 Normally open (input)
Unlock #30 Common (output)
Unlock #87 Normally open (input)
Unlock #87A Normally closed
Are these numbers relay pin designations? If so are they existing relays or relays that are needed and didn't come with the Viper system? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I would really like to tackle this myself and feel I could if the install manual would have contained more detailed information. Maybe Viper doesn't like DIY type folks.
