you are doing it wrong.

when you divide a number greater than 1 by a decimal between 0 and 1 the original amount will get larger.

10 divided by 0.5 equals 20.

OK I see what you are saying, and the calculator has me goofed up. I get the same results if I do 6300/12% without hitting enter, as I do 6300*12% and hitting enter.

Not that I'm doing it wrong, its just how I have been doing it using the windows calculator. LMAO. I will go edit it.

Well I'm glad these discussions go on and are not limited or required to "be much shorter."
I've always thought that's what these forums are for.

OBVIOUSLY figuring out everything there is to know about towing with our trucks is very confusing. I appreciate the folks who try and are willing to share their knowledge. Those who throw up the beating of a dead horse, not so much. To the contributors, thank you.

I found out a long time ago it is better to tow less than what you can and leave a bit of wiggle room than to run maxed out and ask for a problem.
Also remember real trucks don't need *****.


That is actually 1500# (10%) on the hitch
