5.0 EFI to 5.8 Triton swap
Hello,
I am a moderately experienced mechanic. But I often say mechanic work is %50 research %40 skill and %10 luck. I was looking for info on what i want to do but couldn't find much. So I want to know if anybody here has done anything similar and could tell me what I need/what will be the cost. I have a 95 with a 5.0 motor and 315,000 miles on it. It is wore out and toasted with no compression. I also have a 2003 5.8 that was given to me with a bad body. I want to swap motors into my 95.... any info will be appreciated!

either 4.6 or 5.4.
Going to be easier said than done, different era ecus, different transmissions, etc.
Can it be done? Absolutely. Is it a quick, easy budget swap? Nope.
Much cheaper to find a junkyard 5.0 to swap in.
