I haven't had to use 4L for anything yet. I'm curious as to what applications/situations would warrant 4L (pulling a large boat up the launch, dragging large trees, etc.). Thanks for the input.

 

There are hours worth of answers on the google by typing your question there. You'll have to suffer through Jeep forums though.

I use mine when the conditions require going very slowly or very rough / steep terrain. Your boat ramp is another good use.
