Ok I have a 93 F150 4.9L 4x4. The problem I am having is significant hesitation when I accelerate to the point where it will stall sometimes. Doesn't matter if im in neutral or drive I always experience hesitation.


Replaced: MAP sensor, TPS, IAC valve, Distributor cap & Rotor, Plugs, Wires,Coil, Air filter, Vacuum lines (no vacuum leaks now), Throttle body gasket, nothing seems to help I still experience the same severe hesitation and I am wondering if it could be EGR related or possibly fuel related. Please help so I can stop throwing parts at it, thanks

sounds like your engine may have a problem getting air... bad spark plugs, injectors or anything along those lines.

shouldn't be spark or injectors cuz it is completely fine driving down the road at a constant speed its only really bad when I stop then try to accelerate

Once it hesitates and dies, will it start back up and drive? Is the condition intermittent or all the time?
