4.6 Redline

Anyone know how far i should/can push my 4.6 2v? my tach has no redline on it so idk.

I can't give you a for sure! But I hit 5000rpm both with and with out towing a trailer, it can get going in a hurry! I haven't blowder up yet,yet,yet

I'm pretty sure my 08 F150 work truck with the 4.6 redlines at 6k, but not 100% sure

when it starts bouncing off the rev limiter, you've gone too far. 5500 to 6000 is plenty

6K redlines on every 4.6L I have seen, save for the Cobra. Stops making power around 5500RPM though.

The red line is somewhere in the vecinity of 5500 rpm. If you do not have a tach what is the need to know what the red line is? When I had the 4.6 engine in my truck I had a custom chip which set it at 6500.
