4.6 engine and tranny swap
Hey guys I'm new here so hiya from SEMO ....very confused about couple things ...I have a 03 F150 4x4 Sport with 4.6 Romeo ...recently had Tranny prob with 4R70w but now even worse !!! Oil pressure bottom out and spun Rod Bearing ......I have located a later 99 ( 00 ) F150 4x4 with 4.6 and 4R70W Tranny that was totaled out with 73,000 original miles for $500 for whole truck.......Local Salvage yard saying only 03 4.6 Romeo will go right in and Romeo uses different wiring Harness ....Other Salvage Yard says it will work without changing harness or making any modifications except might have to use 99 pcm but they don't even think that ....I got this Truck on hold until Friday ....Could somebody plz share some knowledge ASAP ....TY and God Bless
