I just left the dealership and they're going to go ahead and order me a new brake light.
I pulled in the service technician walked up to me and asked me what he could help me with and I told him that my third brake light was leaking and I needed to get it swapped out under warranty.
He writes down my Vin number, looks at the mileage on the truck and says we will have one here in a couple of days.

He never once took a look at the brake light lol

Well, I'm here at the dealer ship to have the light swapped out.
