3.5 eco boost operating temp
My 2002 5.4 SC operated at 87-89 Celsius 188-192 Fahrenheit; when towing it ran 92-95c 198-205f
I put a temp gauge on my 2013 3.5 eco boost; during regular driving it operated 95c or 205f. Is this normal temp range. the small gauge on the dash is so small compared to my old truck will operate on the cool side of middle.
I am pulling a trailer this summer and was surprised that the 3.5 eco boost runs hot compared to my old 5.4 I have only had this truck 3 months and on three highways runs 120miles it appeared to operate ok.
Is 95c 205f acceptable.

Be a good idea to monitor ye Trans Temp (TFT) as well.

Yep, when towing I enable the digital transmission temp readout and keep an eye on that. To be honest it doesn't fluctuate much at all, perhaps increasing a couple of degrees on a steep incline. Mind you I tow a fairly light weight TT.
