I have a 2015 F-150 lariat with navigation. I was wanting to see if there was anyway to get Apple play to work?

First, congrats on getting the first 2915 truck. Question, in 900 years, has ford fixed the rattle or frozen door latches yet?


Anyway, i don't think apple car play was available in 2015, so you will have to buy an aftermarket unit to put into your truck to get it to work. I have no experience on which aftermarket works best, so i will leave that to someone else to answer.

A 2015 truck still has SYNC 2 - You will need SYNC 3 to use Carplay.....

This involves a new SYNC 3 Screen & APIM and USB hub, and programming for the SYNC 3 unit.

There are kits available for $1500 to do the swap, or you can piece it together yourself and do it for $900-$1000.

I converted my 2015 to Sync 3

If you have the 8" screen it couldn't be any easier. If you have the 4" screen it will require a little more work (and money) but still doable.

May I suggest you reach out to member @TexasFording if you're serious about converting.
