Default 2019 automatic braking standard?

Is the AEB and pre-collision assist standard on the 2019 F150's including all models and drives (ie XL 4x4)?

It depends on package equipment on each model. PCA is standard XLT and up if they are equipped with TTA ( trailer tow assist).

Not sure if it's standard on XL's. But I've seen and driven(unfortunately) 2019 XL's with it

According to the brochure, it's standard on all trim packages.

Why do you say "unfortunately"? Is there a problem with it?

I'm not who you're asking, but I'm going to chime in anyway.

I'd call it unfortunate because it freaks out when it doesn't need to. It looks only ahead of the vehicle, and pays no attention to the curves of the road. So if you're doing 50mph and the road bends to the right, if there's someone sitting in the left turn lane at the middle of that bend, it starts beeping and could possibly slam the brakes on.

I'm a Lincoln technician, I drive vehicles with the same systems daily. I can not stand them, just personally. It makes me happy to get back in my old stuff that doesn't yell and beep at me constantly

Basically what mustanggt90210 said. I had a 19 loaner with it while my 18 was getting the dash replacement. On the way home, the vehicle in front of me dropped a chunk of ice from the wheel well from a snow storm a few days earlier. It's was about the size of a softball. Truck sensed it and applied the brakes. Sensitivity was set to high. Probably why.

My opinion, I'm not looking to debate it. Others may like it, but no thanks. I'll drive the Truck. I don't need it braking for me. I just turned it off after that.

Apparently there are two systems, one that is standard (camera only) and the radar and camera system. Interesting this guy doesn't think much of it.
