2018's Advertised Already
Ford.com already has the 2018 F150 advertised. Looks nice. More like a Chevy than the fugly Dodge. Maybe Ford is just skipping the 2017 MY since they still have not delivered 3.5L's ordered in early Oct.

NEW ENGINE OPTIONS
Based on your need, the 2018 F-150 provides more engine alternatives. First, there’s an all-new standard 3.3L Ti-VCT V6. Next up, a 2.7L EcoBoost,Ⓡ a 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 and a 3.5L EcoBoost are all paired with a 10-speed transmission to deliver improved acceleration and performance. Of course, the F-150 Raptor gets its own unique high-output 3.5L EcoBoost. Also look for yet another powerful new option … with a new 3.0L Power StrokeⓇ Diesel engine.
A Diesel F150, huh. That oughta be interesting to see. Good to know the venerable 5.0 is still an option. Not crazy about the auto start/stop feature being across all platforms, hopefully they allow the user to shut that off.
Does have a Chevy-esq look to the front end and not too bad looking at all.

new features that include a standard 10-speed transmission and available adaptive cruise control, a first for the pickup segment.
The truck will have a diesel engine option for the first time in its 42-year history.

Wow, it actually doesn't look bad, it's almost like all the 45 degree angle theme has been toned down somehow. I'd like to know more about the 5.0 though for HP/torque.
And the auto stop/start can be placed where the sun don't shine. I wonder what they did to the charging and starting systems to undoubtedly beef them up.

They just had the intro on the Fox NFL Pregame. They started with the '77 F-150 (the first year of the 40), moved to the '17, then showed the '18.
I kove the fact that the showed the auto-braking by having the truck not run over a Ford tractor. I just wish it meant that they were getting back into tractors...

Anyone try that for sure?
I'm interested in a 2.7, but don't know how I'd like auto-shutoff.
