Just Bought a 2018 f150 5,0 3:15 rear end truck just doesn't feel as fast as it was last week and now tail pipe has lots of black smoke? Any idea what's the problem

Gets insane mileage on the highway I suppose, usually ppl choose much higher ratio though in the 5.0 definitely an interesting choice.

You supposedly first bought then was given a brand new '18 last week and you're asking what the problem would be?
Tell your dad to take it back to the dealer.

No, it's sad that people like you get on here and disrespect others while putting down their trucks.

Wife bought it for me and I’m so sad to see you still drive a 05

Ohhhh burn hahah :D. As for the other guys, great start to the new years! Real mature! Your wife is pretty badass for that gift! I'd be stoked to drive that regardless!! As for your concerns, could be just you paying extra attention to the truck since it's new and your pride at the moment. Lord knows that's how I am with my current first truck (2005). BUT since it's obviously under warranty and you're worried, def take it to the dealer and voice your concern. Ain't gunna hurt! Good luck
