Let us know how you make out.

From what I'd seen in forums most who had dashes replace were in early years of 13th gen. Ford has stopped replacing dash's given they have no real fix. When I noticed my warping I have 1500 miles and only looked for it after reading a thread in another forum. Also this post is interesting.

I just wanted to laugh at this again....we joke about my truck at work almost every day, the only way we can deal with it. what a POS for quality. It is best not to wash the thing that way the body panel stamping imperfections are less noticeable.

For the IP, now if I become a hoarder, and just put a bunch of **** up there, like dolls, papers, old lunches and even underwear, it won't even be an issue.

So that was a quick visit. Went in and the guy confirmed if I was there for dash issue I said yea and he instantly asked “is this about your defrost area lifting?” I was like yes it is, he said it was his second one in 2 days that he ever had. Told me he sent the first one up to Ford and they said no fixing yet the engineer department is figuring how to resolve. So he took pictures and put mine in. He said I should be contacted by Ford about it soon and he’s expecting to see it resolved in couple months (bullsh*t). I told him I will be contacting monthly to find out status of what’s going on. So we shall see, I did make mention to him that if he just browsed online he would see this as a huge issue..

I'll be curious to see what your results will be. Mine is the same as everyone else's and I've noticed it since a day or two after I first took delivery of it.

I presume this happens as a result of overheating from sun and high interior temps? Guess I betterstart using my windshield sun shade!

Yes, this has been an issue since 2015, odd it is being treated like it is something new. Did he agree the passenger side hump was part of the defrost warp issue?

Yea he’s saying it’s the first they have seen at that dealership, no clue if I believe that or not. When he showed me the pictures of the other truck I told him that mine is not only the defrost spot but the middle of dash, pointed it out and he was surprised and amazed. But who knows how long this will take, like forum has said and he even said it’s the whole dash being replaced so it’s the matter of when Ford will approve it and replace it was a properly engineered product.

^Thats what i'm guessing also.

My dash is still in new condition but then again i always park it in my pole barn out of direct sunlight.
And when i'm at some parking lot i always park bed end towards the sun same as with all my other vehicles in an attempt to minimize high cabin temps.
Even so if i'm right or wrong, there's no excuse for warping dashes direct sunlight or not.
Makes me wonder if Ford tested their prototypes in Alaska.

I have the same issue. Defrost area and passenger side warped to all hell. Waiting to hear from my dealer for this and other fixes that need to be addressed. Mine occurred around 500 miles. Dealer said they’ll probably fix it.
