Question 2018 10 Speed, what is going on?

Bought a used 2018 2.7 STX roughly 4 months ago. Drove the truck around for a test drive, works great. Buy the truck come home, start using it as a work truck towing a small dump trailer, occasionally, other than that just a 30 min commute to the power plant I work at all highway. Truck has been working great, transmission is a little funky but fuel efficient so its worth it to me. I go to pull out of my driveway about 2 months ago and I accelerate at the light and the truck goes to 4th and completely loses power to the wheels, hunts up through 8th gear, I let off the gas and it catches 3rd again and I am on my way. whole thing took about 4 seconds. Same thing has now happened to me 5 times in roughly two months. I started to look the transmission up to see if it was recalls, nothing. Any guidance or advice would be much appreciated.

Your situation doesn't sound like anything I've read.
Perhaps swing by your Ford service department to chat with them and probably get an appointment to have the transmission module flashed. totally guess here of couse, but flashing the module may reset it. You know the drill "Have you tried rebooting". LOL

Your symptoms lead me to believe it may be low on fluid. I would take it in.
