Just ordered a new Lariat and I am going to put a Leer fiberglass cap on it. In speaking to the cap guy he said because the truck has the LED light package he has not been able to find a place to tap in the third brake light. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Use the Trailer Lighting Plug.

 

Trying not to we would rather hard wire it. My cap guy said you have to find the wire in the drivers kick panel. Just wondering if there were any ford techs here that could possibly help. Thanks for your thoughts.
