2015 remote start addition
Also there is no monthly subscriptions or 20 sec delays to lock/unlock or start!
My buddy decided to get the app one from ford and I got a Viper, he's continually pissed because of the lag and delay vs mine which starts right away.
I can also see the cabin temp with my model.
No it's not ****, it's just not a mile!

20 sec.... lol maybe 5-7 sec. for mine. and in that it's a sec or two before it's sent back to your phone. where i work i'd have to leave the building to start my truck as the distance turns and crap in the way is far to great. with the remote access i can start it from my desk. and about the delay. who cares. i press the button and go about my business. come back and turn my phone off..
Sure it's convenient for the few that use it like that but a majority of people would be wasting their money when an aftermarket system will have just as great success and is more responsive.
Who cares if I can start my truck 5000 miles away.
I have yet to find a situation where I couldn't start my truck. I've even started it when I landed on a plane. It may not have worked if I was in the airport but t was fine from plane.
Most people I know that have it says it's a waste.
Still too much for as much as you pay for the system!

dude who cares as both systems sound like they fit our needs....
Enjoy !
I simply was pointing out the negatives in your system since you wanted to point out the negatives in the other members system.
This is good for people looking for info on various systems.
I prefer a pay once type vs the monthly or yearly contract after dropping $400 then paying $50 a year. There isn't a huge benefit over a nice Viper or similar system. You can start the truck from a great distance, nit like you're going to unlock it without seeing it.
Because you were trying to crap on the one system by saying the range is crap obstructed and boasting a 5000 mile range.
