When i picked up my truck last september, i had a conversation with my salesguy about the 2015 full redesign. I jokingly said that I would not do a deal on my 2013 and just come back in 2015 when the body style is all-new. After a few chuckles and when the deal was done, I was outside having a coffee with him when he said that he wasn't even sure if ford would carry on with the FX4 (I had initially asked if he knew anything about the 2015 App Pkg). So with that being said, does anyone hear on the forums believe that there won't be an FX4? I personally find it hard to believe. It's just that I'm a very big fan of how the '13s look with the App Pkg... so I naturally asked about the redesign...

I doubt the salesman knows anything about it. I wouldn't trust what they say. not saying ALL salesman dont know about future models but I can highly doubt they'll know anything about a product coming out 2yrs from now.

 

He's a salesman he knows about as much as I do about future product, I doubt they will stop the FX package "I have one" When I bought my 2013 I knew more than him. We will wait and see.

 

Your sales guy is pretending he knows more than he does. I'm sure Ford has released some limited info about the upcoming redesign. Most likely the same stuff we've seen regarding the Atlas concept truck. But don't bank on what he says. Heck, remember that most of the folks selling cars/trucks are not enthusiasts like us. They often know significantly less than we do.
