Default 2015 f150 speedo problems

Hey guys. New here. Had f150's my whole life. Recently just traded in my 09 screw with the 5.4 for a 2015 2.7 Eco. Beast of an engine. No complaints. But, the speedometer keeps goofing up. It says I'm going 30-35 when I'm going 0. Brought it into the dealer a few times after having the problem and they cannot figure it out. Any suggestions?

My old Tahoe used to do this a lot. Is it always off like this or is it just sometimes? I never did get mine figured out but in a brand new 2015 this shouldn't be happening. I would make them replace the whole cluster.

This is the 3rd time it happened. I brought it in the past 2 times and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. I'm going to push for a new cluster this time

Trying to find out if Minnesota ever got his speedometer issue resolved. I am having the same problem with my 2015 f150 XLT.
Mine started out 25 mph fast, then it went down to 20 mph over the actual speed; then 15; then 10. Each time I had shut off the engine and waited about 10 minutes and the indicated speed was reduced each time. The last time I turn the engine off it was overnight. The next morning the speedometer registered accurately.
Is this a sensor issue? I was told by the local Ford dealer that there are 3 different sensor registering speed. They recommended using a GPS unit until isolating the problem. Argh!
Is this a malfunctioning speedometer panel?

Hey! Sorry I didn't get back to you. Workin a month of 7 12's is brutal haha. But anyway, I got mine fixed. Took it to the dealer and they ended up replacing the whole gauge cluster. She's been good since! The cluster was actually back ordered for 2 weeks so that kinda sucked. Got a call from a big wig ford rep though apologizing for it and got 4 free oil changes outta the deal! I guarantee it's the gauge cluster because mine did the exact same thing yours has been doing. If they have any questions tell them to call lundgren ford in eveleth, mn and they will tell them it's the cluster, not a sensor.

Hey Minnesotaf150
I st sent you a private message. You can disregard it. My service tech just called to say that you dealer called and told my guys which part (the instrument clusterf) to order.
So it looks like this forum, and you, helped solve my problem. Thanks.
Will come back to the forum when the repairs are completed.

Okay, problem solved. Speedometer cluster replaced under warranty. Thanks Minnesotaf150.
After replacement the air bag light went on and would not go off! Traced to the overhead airbag. Ford removed headliner, fixed the connector, no more light! Thanks again warranty!!
Talked with another ford 150 owner who had the same problem with the speedometer. His was also replaced.
