I agree. But a concept is a concept. That's the way it is. They have to have something to stop the show. It's disappointing to see a concept dumbed down for production, but it is what it is. Like I said before, all brands do this. They do it to get everyone all horny about the production car.

With that said, I'm glad I have my '13. I love the dash layout, it looks modern, simple and sexy. If they'd take that layout and improve the dash materials for 2015, they'd have a perfect dash layout IMO.

Dash looks interesting enough, but the steering wheel? No thanks...

Glad I have my 2012 FX4 without nav. Wasn't impressed with the 2013 dash layout.

I don't think it's fair to jump to conclusions be they good or negative until Ford officially reveals the new truck and we get to see one up close without camo.

It looks to me, my opinion, that the first pic is a higher end truck then the second pic posted. You find this in the models being made now so I wouldn't start gettin to crazy yet.

The photo of the second steering wheel is clearly that of a lower trim package. Take look at the first photo, it's leather wrapped with aluminum. Also the first photo clearly shows a console shifter where it is absent in the photo where the steering wheel is in focus. The new steering wheel has thumb cut outs and appears to be thicker, it's probably more functional than the current gen steering wheel..

Judging by the interior in the new 2015 Mustang I would imagine all of the higher trim levels will include REAL aluminum. And judging by the first photo where the stereo *****, shifter and steering wheel all appear to have aluminum I would say this is going to be the case:

Lets hope they put the fan and temp controls back to a dial for the upper trim levels.
