Default 2014 F150 Rear end Whine

Hey Everyone, So I have a new 2014 F150 Scab XLT XTR Automatic 4x4 with the 3.7L V6 engine, rear end has the 3.73 axle ratio, with 33,000kms. Started to notice awhile back that there was a whine while driving my truck.. upon further investigation I figured out that I would hear the whine in the rear end more so when I drove the truck from a cold start ( although it will do it after it's been driven for awhile too). Normally around 40-50kmh at 1500-2000RPM during shifts, going into the shift the whine would start and get progressively louder and after the shift the whine would disappear completely. I have brought the truck to Ford with no luck since it wouldn't make the noise while I was there (go figure) and after reading countless articles on similar issues it seems people have many mixed opinions as to what it could be. I was told by one tech at an oil lube center recently that Ford requires you to change the fluid in the rear differential about 4,500kms after purchase since it is only fluid from the factory... they state that you should then add Synthetic fluid with anti-slip.
( however they do NOT tell the customer this!). I have yet to do this fluid change but would like some more opinions out there from people experiencing the same thing as myself or if I'm lucky a Ford tech! ANY information or help would be GREATLY appreciated! thanks in advance!

I can't help with your problem, but in my book, "advice" from an oil change center tech would be suspect. They'll also tell you oil changes are "required" at 3000 miles.

I've owned a couple F-150's and I've never heard of a requirement to change the differential fluid at 4,500 km.

I experience rear end whine only when my kids are in the back seat.

Sorry, carry on...
