OK, who out there has a 2013 on order or has recently taken delivery? I just ordered mine yesterday and am curious who out there is in the same boat as I?

Post your engine selection, trim package and options along with what you plan to use your truck for. I'm interested to see what others are doing.


Here is what I ordered:

2013 F150 Lariat Supercrew 4x4 Ecoboost with 5.5' bed

-White w/Adobe trim
-Max tow package less elephant ear mirrors.
-20" aluminum wheels
-Leather, Sunroof, Navigation, Premium sound, Remote start, Reverse Camera, Reverse Sensing, etc.
-All weather floor mats
-Rear wheel well inserts
-Cable lock system

This truck will be used as a daily driver, work vehicle and recreation vehicle. For recreation, it will be pulling a 8500 GVWR TT rv.

Trying to decide whether to go with another camper shell, or try a retractable bed cover. I currently own a 2003 Super Crew with a A.R.E. Camper shell and love it. Just not sure I like the look of a shell installed on the newer body style. May try something different this time....Still thinking it through though.

Any suggestions?

im in your boat jhlfory i order my 2013 platinum with all the bells and whistles on 11/09/2012 i just my vin number today by calling ford. the dealer paper work says i should take delivery 12/15/2012 or around that time frame but when i spoke to ford they told me 12/24/2012 im hoping the dealer is right with the 12/15 delivery bc i won't be able to pick up until January do to work i will be using it as my only truck lost everything in the storm we had here in NY had a mini cooper Nissan Altima and my 2012 F150 xlt. since im going to stick with one i made it a platinum f150. i will be using it to trail a 24 foot boat and my atvs which survived congrats on the new truck.

Ordered 11/16/12. It will be my E.D.D.

 

i just hope ford was right about the dec 24 deliver date bc i hear they shut down for 2 weeks for the holidays then will get our trucks sometime in feb

 

The dealership called today and my truck has a scheduled build the week ofDec. 17. Should take delivery around the 2nd week of January....we'll see. this is all a new expirience for me.

 

thats good news my dealership is so busy bc of the storm i had to call ford. 2nd week sounds right thats when they open up aging after the holidays.
