I have a 2013 3.7 super cab with tow pack it clunks when I put it in reverse and it growls with I shift in to park. My driver door speaker goes off and on. The black trim on the doors are coming unglued. Its got about 3,000 miles. I'm thinking I should have looked at Ram.

Not impressed.
Bacreman, do you know what the TSB number is they are performing?

Welcome to the forum, Billy Wicker. It sounds like it's time for you to make an appointment at your dealership. Let me know when you're headed in and I'll do what I can to help.

Crystal,
Why do they not have a fix for the clunk when put into reverse? Sounds as if that is a continuing issue correct?
Supposedly there is a tsb for the growl. But I need to wait a week for parts.
Love my ford hate this crud. Especially when there is not fix in sight

On one occasion they tried telling me it was exhaust noise. So I politely asked them to produce the noise since the "exhaust is there all the time while engine is running. I was basically asked to leave. If you really want to make the noise audible, pull a trailer in mountainous terrain with a few thousand lbs. Ford has proving grounds. Don't think they haven't done this. There aware of it but don't want to hurt 15 model yr sales when launched. Have you taken your truck thru a quarter car wash yet only to have backseat passengers get a shower? Or has your back window just shattered for no apparent reason? Google that issue or better yet ask your local glass shop how many they have replaced. Ford won't fix issue or replace the glass when it happens. Ever go down a gravel rd with all four windows down (I have a crew cab) and the doors sound like there going to rattle apart but rattles are gone when window are up. Here's a good one, any one experience a no start with there ecoboost when temps reach -0 or below Fahrenheit? Yep there's a tsb for this to but don't be surprised if they say they must replicate the problem first. This is a 13 platinum that stickered for $54,995.00 and has been in half dozen times. Its gave me 23,000 miserable miles so far. Oh I almost forgot! The screen between the speedo and tach, wait till that starts flashing erratic at you at night and looks like white snow or a TV without a station. Oh and speaking of snow, when your backing up and your rear tires spin you may hear a distinct clicking in the front hubs. If you do there is a tsb for this as well. But it must be a temporary fix cause mine started doing it again.
Sorry for the long post but the moral to this long boring story is, I bet your truck has more problems than you realize....
You seem really angry maybe go with GM and complain about their issues? Maybe a dodge? Or a Titan/Tundra? LMAO

Let me know when they built the flawless indestructable machine of moving parts you seem to want.

I admit it has and still is a frustrating journey. Perhaps you have been fortunate and not experienced the issues I have or just don't care. You sir are entitled to your opinion and I are not asking for it. If you notice I was post # 2 on this thread and the long list of ongoing problems have grown old....

Hi Schubie,

I'm not a technician, so I don't have access to things like repair procedures or mechanical information. I'd recommend reaching out to your service manager; they'll be in a better position to address these questions for you.

Thanks crystal
They "fixed" it once before but did not last longer than 6 or 8 weeks. That I guess is why I am skeptical that it will work this time. I have also read many times about this reoccurring. My 2011 and 2009 and the many previous f150's did not do this at all. Soo my assumption is this does not have to happen. Hopefully this time they get it right!
