just wondering if anybody has had this problem.I had one of the black inserts on the sides of the grill fall out when I was driving never to be seen again, I did try and put a warranty claim in but the dealer says there is not much chance ford will cover it, the truck is 11 months old. and you can't buy just the insert you have to buy the whole grill . Thanks for any input .

 

Wreckers yards. You'll probably be lucky and find one that is damaged and you can buy just the part you need.

 

I did try that no luck I would even buy a after market one if they made them.

 

If your dealer will put the correct wording in the warranty request, Ford will cover it. It's amazing to me some dealers will just write their customers off with a statement like that. I took my Wifey's Mustang in told the service writer what it was doing, she couldn't get it to mess up for her no matter how hard she tried. She said, don't worry, I can write it up so we can fix the problem. There ya go........
