Default 2011 HID kit

I'm trying to figure out everything I need to put hids in my 2011 SCREW XLT. I ordered a regular hid kit containing the bulbs and the ballast is their anything else I need? Like an anti flicker relay, auto light on relay or anything else I'm missing??? Thanks

Proper projector housings. I prefer OEM HID housings for simplicity, but if you're handy, retrofitting the OEM housings is cheaper. I don't have the patience to mess with it personally.

If you put the HIDs in the stock housings, you will blind everyone else on the road.

I drive at night mostly and I would say 95% of my driving is no where near any other drivers... so blinding wouldn't be an issue. I ordered a kit but I'm not sure if I need an anti flicker relay, or an auto on relay since our trucks have auto lights... or any other relay to run my aftermarket hid bulbs/ballasts in our trucks. I just need brighter light out put so I ordered fog, and hi/lo beam hids.... I'm eventually going to get a mini light bar to go in where the license plate frame is as well... it's ridiculously dark where I live and we have a lot of animal traffic so brightening everything is a win in my situation lol

You have to watch the cheap kits, I had the relay and the anti flicker and it worked great. Here's what I purchased. I also have them for sale along with a set of tinted headlight housings.

are the relay and anti flicker necessary for the hids to work on our trucks?

Not so much necessary for them to work, but more to make sure I didn't have any issues. I purchased a good kit because I didn't want to get stuck if they went out one night.

Alright cool thanks man... hopefully mine are all plug and play with no issues tomorrow. Ordered some cheapies 35w but in my opinion they'll be way better than my stock bulbs...
